The Slapshot

I know there are lots of guys throughout history who had a great slapper but was there anything more beautiful, even if you were a Hawks fan, than watching Johnny Boychuk’s slapshot goal that tied the game 5-5 last night?   In super slow mo, it was poetry in motion.  No flutter in that puck at all.

Don’t Be Too Sharp During Warm-Up

While taking a few shots at the empty cage during the pre-game warm-up last night, while our goaltender Moose was still stretching before going in, I rang one off the post and in.  He saw this and suggested I save such accuracy for shots taken during the game.  If only it were that easy.
